BIJA MIND BODY HEALING
Love is our true nature.
Bīja is Sanskrit for “seed,” a symbol of origin and potential. When we gently return to the roots of suffering, often a sense of separation from our true nature, we make space for what is already whole within us to grow.

My work is with adults seeking a deeper relationship with themselves and a more embodied way of moving through life. Together, we turn toward the patterns that shape how relationships, intimacy, and self-worth are experienced — patterns that may surface as anxiety, shame, harsh self-judgment, codependency, or boundaries that feel hard to hold.
Most of these patterns took root as ways of surviving, and they often outlast their purpose, keeping ease, openness, and closeness just out of reach. In our sessions, we slow the pace, listen to what the body is holding, and follow what is ready to shift. Over time, this can make room for more presence, self-compassion, and self-trust, and a felt sense of belonging, both within and in relationship.

Ways to work together
As a NARM therapist, I specialize in attachment and developmental trauma using an integrated somatic and relational approach. Sessions may weave in nature-based practices, parts work, breathwork, therapeutic yoga, mindfulness, and Nonviolent Communication.
Nature-based therapy invites the natural world into the healing process. Sessions may include walk-and-talk therapy or intentional, guided experiences outdoors, with nature serving as a co-therapist. Offerings range from one-hour sessions to half-day and full-day experiences.

I am a social worker and psychotherapist, and much of what I offer grows from my own ongoing work of unwinding the patterns that keep me from connection, peace, love, and joy.
I grew up in a family shaped by intergenerational addiction and codependency. My recovery from those patterns first drew me to this work, and it continues to inform how I walk alongside others as a fellow traveler on the path of self-discovery.
A spiritual awakening through Kriya Yoga early in life began more than a decade of study and practice toward Self-realization. My work in Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA) deepened my understanding of how early experiences shape identity. Along the way, I trained as an Ananda® Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Bliss Therapist.
I earned my MSW from New Mexico State University in 2022 and completed NARM® Level 2 Training, focused on attachment and developmental/complex trauma (C-PTSD). I now practice as a NARM psychotherapist with an integrated somatic and relational approach, drawing on nature-based practices, therapeutic yoga, mindfulness, parts work, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), self-compassion and reparenting principles.
I am licensed to practice clinical social work independently in Oregon.
Reaching out is itself a step toward connection.
